e-vetting error - "Invalid application id, email or date of birth"

Hey all,

Just checking i'm not doing something stupid as i'm getting the following error "Invalid application id, email or date of birth" on after clicking "Enter" on this page: https://vetting.garda.ie/Application/Invitation

Iv'e received the vetting request from: evetting.donotreply@garda.ie and followed the link prompting me for my tracking number (in this format) INI001-YYYYMMDD-NNNNN, email and DOB but get the mentioned error, also tried 3 different web browsers. Any other suggestions other than contacting: citizenshipvetting@justice.ie

Did you enter your DOB/email correctly on the application?

Have you entered all data manually, not using copy and paste? Have you checked there is no hidden spaces or punctuation at the end or beginning of your entries? Have any zeroes and letter O been swapped?

I clicked the link from the "Vetting Request INI001...." email that auto fills the INI number and also tried typing it manually, also re-entered my email checking for white space as you mention and the DOB field is a date picker thingo so there isn't much room for error

Good question, I would say yes to the email as I received the "Vetting Request INI001" email, but my DOB I can't be sure??

Iv'e contacted the citizenshipvetting@justice.ie address, suppose i'll just wait till they either respond or the vetting link expires and I can re-submit and try again..

You can check your details on the ISD portal I think (when you filled out your invitation) - maybe have a glance there/copy things from there?

Ahh crap, looks like I fat fingered my DOB.. Thanks for pointing me at this atleast I know now why it's erroring.

mine is like that too with the e-vetting error how did u fix it
