Change in airline

Post by summer_2006 » Thu Dec 07, 2006 5:47 am

I had applied and have received schengen visa for 15 days to Holland.

In the documents that I had presented to them, I have given an airline confirmation for British Airways, given to me by the dutch company in Eindhoven which is sponsoring this trip. However, now I realize I need a transit visa for London. I do not have enough time to get this visa as I am leaving tomorrow.

The dutch company is now sending me a new ticket which flies directly to Holland. The duration of stay, purpose and itirineray remains the same.

Will the change in airline ticket cause a problem?

No problem whatsoever. Indeed by the time you get to immigration at Schiphol airport, or wherever, it will not be clear which airline transported you to the airport, and it is rare for travel tickets to be demanded. But ever if they are, I really can't see it would cause a problem.

After all, you have a totally innocent explanation.
