non eu spouse of an eu national

hi, my name is mehdi, and i am the husband of a latvian citizen.
we got married in 2009 in cyprus, and we have been living there since then, until we just moved recently to the uk.
my question is that are the years of our marriage in cyprus will not be considered for future permanent residence which requires 5 continuous years of living in the uk?
and i am also wondering that i can get naturalization from her country which is latvia and where i never stepped a foot?

PR after 5 years of legal residence in the UK. Your time living in Cyprus doesn't count towards the qualifying time for PR.

You and your spouse may be Permanent Residents of Cyprus and may be eligible for citizenship in Cyprus. You'll have to look into that.
