Lost document - EEA Family permit

Hi

I wonder if you can help. I want to know what happens if I have lost my passport with my EEA family permit in it which I have had for four years now? Would I need to apply from scratch? Does the home office keep a record of my documents and who my EU/EEA family member is? I am not a spouse/civil partner of the EEA national. Also I am going to be getting married soon to a British National. I am a national of a non-EU country of course. When I give notice at the local registry office do they check the details of the EEA/EU Family member?

Have you never applied for a residence card on EEA2? Your family permit would not be valid after 4 years anyway.

I'm sure they would have some record if you had applied for EEA2, but not necessarily on the system if you only got an EEA family permit.

Not sure how this would work. Hope someone else will answer.

please tell bit more are you unmarried partner of eu citizen?
you been issued f permit 4 years ago..
are you living in uk since than..
have you applied eea2 rc....
