Me and my wife will be travelling this summer to Poland, my wife's home country. We wanted to keep it a secret from her family as it will be the first time I will be visiting, and we wanted to make it a surprise. They know that my wife is coming over, but they don't expect to see me on the airport
In order to travel to Poland, due to the fact I am Moroccan, I need a Schengen Visa. I have booked the appointment in the consulate and filled the application form online, in which I gave the reason of our stay as family visit. I included all the contact details: phone number and address of my wife's father. Does the consulate contact the family in order to confirm the given information? Will my parents in law be informed about my visit before I arrive?Hope my question is not too weird!
