Stamp passport entering Schengen from UK with residence card

Stamp passport entering Schengen from UK with residence card

Two questions,

First, as US citizens can travel to the Schengen zone or 90 days visa free/tourist visa, can I use the European line/queue like I do when entering the UK (with a EU residence card) and second, since the UK border force are not allowed to stamp passports with a EU residence card, does that apply to Schengen border police as well?
