Schengen Visa required?

Just a quickie..

Will the spouse and child (Singapore citizens) of a British citizen require a Schengen Visa if the family is moving to Spain (where the British citizen will start working with 3 months)? The family are currently in Ireland, and have appropriate resident permits.
