Visiting two schengen countries - is single entry visa enuf?

Post by gregshukla » Thu Aug 28, 2008 9:20 pm

Hello,

I would like to travel to Belgium and Italy. I am planning to take train from London to Belgium and then fly to Italy for 2 days and then come back to Belgium and then back to London.

However, my Italy plan is not sure yet so I cannot book tickets.

So my question is, if I just show tickets for entering and leaving Belgium, and then I will get single entry visa (most probably). Then after reaching Belgium can I book my tickets to Italy and travel there on my single entry visa and then come back to Belgium?

I.e. is the "single entry" for Belgium or is it for the Schengen zone as whole?

Thank you very much.
Greg.

Whole zone! Isn't the EU wonderful! Pity we've only half-joined it!
