How to cancel/withdraw the submitted Visa Application for Schengen (Italy) in the UK, I have an urgency to get my passport back, how long does it take to get it back

It depends on a specific situation/embassy. Call them and find ou (if they have a number).

Keep in mind it's Christmas holidays now.
