How can my wife join me in Switzerland?

HI Guys,

Need some expert advise.

I am self employed and have moved from London to Zurich for atleast one year, for work (and ski). I am on British passport and so is our son. My wife has an Indian passport with Indefinite Leave to Remain (PR) stamp on it. She has applied for British citizenship last week and not sure how long would it take before she gets naturalised and can apply for passport.

Now, in this situation, on what visa can my wife join me here in Zurich? Would she need to apply for a dependant permit from UK or can she come to Switzerland on a schengen visa and then apply for a dependant permit here?

Also, if she can come here on a Schengen visa, can she apply for one on the basis of our Son (British citizen) or would I have to physically be in London when she applies (incase if she would need to present my passport).

Please suggest?
