Post by chithra » Mon Mar 02, 2009 11:15 am

Hi all ,
I'm planning to visit spain along with my husband and we need a schengan visa for this . My husband holds HSMP Tier1 visa(U.K) and i have a dependent visa .

Should both of us visit the spanish consulate to submit our papers or jus my husband as the main applicant . ?

How easy it is to get a schengan visa from spanish consulate ?

Many thanx
Chithra .

The Spanish Consulate is a nightmare, search this forum...

You both need to go - bear in mind there's the obligatory £15 0906 call to book the appointment and then you get to go to the consulate for some face-to-face abuse.

Also be aware that in line with their inefficient, unfriendly service, they won't issue the visa on the same day. You'll have to return probably a
week later to collect by appointment, and it may or not be processed by then...depending on how they feel that week.
