i need information about getting married with Norwegain girl

Post by imrankhanswati » Sat Jun 18, 2011 12:37 pm

Hi, i am studying in Stockholm Sweden basically i am from Pakistan and my visa has been finished for which i am not able to move outside Sweden, but my girlfreind she is from Norway, she most of the time visit me. well we want to get married & for that purpose we submit marriage doucuments which include non-marriage and birth certificates in Skatteverket (tax office) Sweden, but my case officer told me the documents which i brought from Pakistan are not sufficent. I made them from local court in our area in Pakistan, the documents include an stamp paper which shows my non marriage certificate & the other one is my birth certificate, i dont know what kind of papers they need more, the officer told me i have to show her law for marrige in Pakistan and the documents that shows i am register as unmarried there in my country. so i dont know how can i do that, if somebody knows kindly guide me and tell me the right way.
Thanks

It's called Apostille. Speak to the people of your Consulate, they'll help you out. It might be quicker if your family back at home can do it for you and post it you.

I wish you a lifetime of happiness with your soon to be wife. :D
