Visa Processing time of Italian embassy Islamabad, Pakistan

Hi,
I'm from Pakistan. I submited my visa application for italian study visa through a courier service FedEx on May 23, 2011. As written on Official website of FedEx, the processing time is 25-30 days. Now 2.5 months gone since my application but there is nothing.
I called embassy twice but they didn't give a proper response.
Anybody pls guide me can i withdraw it or wait because my admission there for a diploma and classes were started from August 01 by Institute..
