missed convocation for delivery of titre de sejour (France)

I am a student living in France. I applied (on time) to renew my titre de sejour and was approved and given an appointment for Oct. 26 to pick up my titre de sejour. Unfortunately, I missed the appointment, for a stupid reason: I glanced at the slip of paper they gave me and somehow thought I was supposed to come anytime after that date and before the expiration of my recipissé on Dec. 13. But that's not what the paper says: they wanted me to be there on Oct. 26. Given how bureaucratic France is, am I in trouble? Or can I reschedule picking up my titre de sejour?
