Schengen visa for spouse of UK citizen - Help please!

Hi,

i have recently booked with Ryan Air (1st time ever) flights from London to Amman Jordan via Budapest & return via Poland or Italy and i only realised after payment the flights require self transfer.

Question is :

My wife holds a valid BRP card and shes a Jordanian passport holder - Does she require a Airport transfer visa or Schengen Visa for Italy, Hungary or Poland as she will be travelling with my son who is British - i wont be travelling but i am a British citizen too.

Yes, as she will be entering a Schengen country. The UK is no longer an EU country and there is no benefit or automatic right in accompanying a British citizen child.
