cleanin up house

Post by shockboy2000 » Fri Dec 29, 2006 10:40 pm

whats the story if HSMP extension isn't approved and we cant be bothered applying again / forking out another 335quid?
i.e. im only applying for HSMP extension to finish my last couple of months of my contract - i'm not really that bothered about staying in UK long term.

can you leave the country (day trip to France for example) and enter again on tourist visa so you can at least have a couple of weeks to pack up your house, sell things ...have a holiday even ?

hope it was as easy as that for every body :-)

What about the rental agreemetns once has signed and advanced paid. What about fixed deposits or other typings of on-going savings which you cant take out immediately etc.,

Anyway :-) I am sure you will find a way to stay here if not HSMP.

i've been in the UK for almost 3 years (workin' holiday visa before HSMP) - and as my rental agreement is private, it is now on month by month basis.

i send majority of my money back to australia each month since i have mortgage there, so i only have small amount here to transfer

i think my only commitment beyond a 1month timeframe is my job (end of March) - though they're aware of the visa situation and wont be too upset if i have to leave prematurely.

i doubt my Vectra will pass its next MOT, so if anyone knows a good cliff and wants to watch me push it off...

I think in case the extension application is refused one will be given some time (28 days?) to leave the country. Of course, one is eligible to come back to UK on another type of Visa.
