Different Names on Documents

Post by reladith » Fri Mar 23, 2007 9:01 pm

I have all the vaild documentations to get the visa but the only issue is that on my Passport i have an abbreviated version of my name and on my official documents such as degrees, CA quailications i have my full name.

I do have my drivers licence which has my full name and a photo. So that is two documents with a picture with each version of the name.

Will this cause an issue and if so, what would i have to do to qualm and issues with it?

Cheers and best of luck all!

I wait for your replys...

is it general norm that on your country's passport you people have abbvreviated name? If so then I dont think so you would have any problem. Otherwise its better to get a authenticated certificate from the issuing authority about it,,, Hope this helps.

If possible, go to the passport authorities and ask them to change the passport so that the name corresponds, you may be taking a risk. Some case workers may not take it as an issue but some would.
