Why you guys apply HSMP?

After reading different threads, especially some mentioned their experience when moving to UK under HSMP, I am very interested in knowing why people all over the world apply HSMP?

For myself, my contract terminates in near future and I have licence to work at UK at a medical profession. I just want to go to UK to widen my horizons.

How about others?
