How do you know that your documents recieved on 14th? It was Saturday..
If you sent them by Courier, then they won't accept it on Monday..

Also what Payment method you used?

I suggest Wait for another day, if things are looking same then call HO....

Good Luck....

Hi All,

Am almost done with my application, but I have a few issues in some sections. Guys pls help me out on this.

I am applying from Bangalore, India.

1> I got a DD from ICICI Bank bangalore for 400 GBP, in favor of Home Office, Work Permits ( UK ). Now in the payment details section of the application form, the choices for mode of payment are UK Postal Order, UK Cheque and Credit Card. Do I need to select UK Postal Order or UK Cheque here?

2> Under the qualifications section, do I need to answer both Q 24 and Q 25 or one of those. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from VTU, Karnataka. So do I need to answer Q 24 treating my degree as academic qualification or Q 25 treating my degree as professional / vocational qualification? I do not intend to include NARIC letter.

3> In the past earnings section, for country where income do I need to mention the band in which the country falls or just the country name. In my case India, Band D.
Similarly for the income band, do I mention Band D or GBP XXXX+.

Guys pls advise on these.

Thanks
FM

Hi Kaff,
Thans for reply... well, there was an SMS from DHL service on 14th that courier is delivered.

I had used ABN Amro debit card. And, i had gone to ABN head branch in Delhi and they have told me that my card is international and can be used all over the world.

And, i do have enough money in that.. but still nothing is debited :(

please suggest which number shall i call or some mail id which i should write to ..?

Hi fly2uk,

According to me:

1. Mention UK Cheque since UK Postal order is very diferent and its issued by the post office rather than a bank.

2. Answer only question 24 since its an Engg. degree. I submitted only the final degree certificate and no NARIC certificate or letter or transripts or marksheets.

3. This section is confusing and fill the details as below:
Q28 ---> D
Q29 ---> India
Q30 ---> Provide your gross pay in £s (some applicants place equivalent rupees in bracket next to the £ value)
Q31 ---> £X,xxx+

Hope this helps

Hi,
I have applied and my documents were received on July 1st. I have applied with the new ITR forms and a copy of Form 16 endorsed by my employer. Its of course prudent enough to give bank statements reflecting salary credit and authorized payslips as well. What is the ground for rejection? Please clarify.

NEW ITR

Post by vimg07 » Fri Jul 20, 2007 6:07 am

Hi,

I Believe sending all the documents mentioned by you should not create any problem.

However very recently there was a case which got rejected only because of New ITR Forms and reason for rejection was "The Income Tax Department Acknowledgment you supplied is not acceptable because, the acceptable tax return from India is the Saral".

Please refer to bleow link

I think if we expain the new process of filing tax returns saying ITR Acknowledgement is provided instead of SARAL, we should be resonably safe. May be provide a link to the official website.

http://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/download_all.asp
Am also planning to provide a copy of the instructions page of ITR1 with points 4 - 8 highlighted.

This, plus the bank statements. letter from employer and wage slips, should be enough to get through I think. There have also been so many cases that have been approved with this set of documents.

So lets be positive, instead of focussing on just one rather unfortunate refusal.

Guys,

Did any one of you send your resume / openings list, along with HSMP application? Just wondering if it will help in anyway.

I am sure we need to do it for EC. But HSMP ?? Any thoughts?

Thanks
