Work Visa Malaysian Citizen

Hello,

I am a German citizen living and working in the United Kingdom.
My malaysian girlfriend graduates this year and wants to join me in the UK and preferably work here (She is also open for temporary jobs, there is no plan to stay here forever as I would go back to Germany one day anyway).
I have done a lot of research now about the Visa requirements, however I am still very confused.
My question is if I can actually sponsor a visa for her which gives her the allowance to stay and work in the UK, or is the only way for her to stay and work here a Tier2 Visa which gets sponsored by the employer?
She plans to come in December and will graduate in Nov.
Her graduation would allow her to work in labs (e.g. in an University or Hospital).
I generally wonder what you think how high the chances are for her to get a working visa for the UK, even if its just temporary (lets say 6 months)?
