Hello friends,

After 4 months of job hunting, yesterday i have got a verbal offer from a company. I am a chemical engineer and the job is also as Chemical engineer with 1 year of contract.

I have few questions to be discussed with u people,

1. Whether 1 year contract will affect my extension?

2. My wife just visited UK last month( first entry) and left back after a week. Probably she may not join permanently within 1 year. but always possible for short trips to UK. Will it be a contrain for my extension.

3. My job location is Milton Keynes. Do any one help me in locating suitable studio apartment there. Or any info. abt this place. I do not any idea abt this place.

Last but not least, i sincerely thank all the moderators and forum members who have shared many info. Also spl thanks to Kaya for helping me in job hunting.

Any effect will be a good one

No problem unless you claimed spouse points - in which case she should be with you in the UK at the time of your extension and hopefully employed

Do some legwork - Milton Keynes is just up on the M1 from London. It is as expensive as being in London
