When to apply for Tier 1 Dependent extension

Hi
I got my ILR in Croydon PEO recently.
My wife is dependent on me as Tier 1 General dependent. Her leave expires on 15/11/2015.
I want to apply for her extension as same PBS dependent.
My question is that should i wait till her visa expire (28 daye before expiry) Or can i apply now as well.
Would he application 4 months earlier be accepted?
In any case, she would finish her 5 years on 18/03/2018.
