ILR Tier 1 General application

Post by Guitar6003 » Tue Feb 16, 2016 11:25 pm

Hello Admin and members

I am currently applying for ILR under the Tier 1 General category. My 5 year route finishes in April 2016. I am currently filling in the application form and is confused with couple of questions:

1. In Section 9A > A4 there is a period of previous earning. I am currently doing 2 jobs. Job 1 from more than a year and Job 2 started only in June 2015. So my Job 1 earnings are from March 2015 to Feb 2016 and Job 2 is from June 2015 to Feb 2016. Do I have to fill in earnings period for both the jobs separately in the two rows of boxes or just one common row saying March 2015 to Feb 2016?

2. In Section 12L: Evidence specified in section 9A is fine but do I have to tick the box below that as well saying "For the period before you were granted leave as Tier 1 General....." ? If yes what will be these documents?

Much appreciated guys if you please help me out.

Thanks

1. Specify them separately.

2. It would be the required documents to prove you still meet the points and that you were in the UK continuously. (Age - passport; earnings - payslips and bank statements or other proof; degree - proved previously, so not required; absences proof showing you have not left the country to go and work elsewhere really). It's just another duplication really - the form is a bit strange (there are three separate sections dealing with photographs when you only need to submit two).
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.

Thanks for your response mulderpf

1. Got it.

2. For 12L (page 74) there are 2 questions:

Evidence specified in section 9A of this: This is fine I got all of that.

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules

What documents will I need?

Thanks
