URGENT EC INFO REQUIRED

HI All,

I have been following the posts for a while now, you guys are going a great job.

Here is my situation...

I have got an HSMP approval last month (applied from within uk). Unfortunately before I could apply for Leave to Remain my stay expired and I am now leaving for home to apply for EC

What documents do we need to apply for EC?
1- Where do I download the EC form from and what form do I download.
2- I am employed in UK and all my statements, payslips etc are UK based, can I show these in my country of origin?
3- Do I need to provide anything else apart from Application form, bank statements, salary slips and letter from employer?
4- and pictures
5- Do you guys know roughly how long it takes to get an EC approval.

My biggest concern: I have overstayed in uk (just by 4 days) would its effect the EC decision.

YOU CAN GET TEH EC FORMS FROM THE BRITSH HIGH COMMISSION/EMBASSY OF YOUR HOME COUNTRY OR DOWNLOAD FORM THE BHC WEBSITE.

2- I am employed in UK and all my statements, payslips etc are UK based, can I show these in my country of origin?

YES, YOU CAN SHOW THESE IN YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.

3- Do I need to provide anything else apart from Application form, bank statements, salary slips and letter from employer?

BESIDE THESE THINGS, YOU NEED TO SHOW TAX RETURNS, JOB SEARCH RESULTS ETC.

DEPENDS WHICH COUNTRY YOU ARE APPLYING.

YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE COUNTRY BEFORE YOUR VISA EXPIRED. ANYWAY YOU CAN EXPLAIN THIS TO EC FOR THE REASONS OF OVERSTAY.
