Waiting time

Hi , Do anyone know ? How long is the waiting time for processing application?

I apply for permanent residency via one day service ( which is in home office website said 98 % within 24 hours ) but unfortunetly they just gave me reason that my application need futher consideration and they cant process it in a day so they took it so far it had been more than 3 months I wait for my application to be return , unlucky me until now I got no news at all apart of still under consideration. I want to go asia to visit my family but I can't cos I got no passport. Did anyone had these kind of experienced? Its really frustated . I went to they website every day to check on application they currenly work on and month by month is all the same . always showing november 2007 . they said the date shown update every month but that not the case.
Oh dear I really don't know how much longer I have to wait. I just can wish they can decide quicker ( to granted or to refuse )
