WP to HSMP - Confused- Help Required

Hi Friends,

I have got few questions to be clarified on WP to HSMP, Dependent Visa and ILR. Could you please clarify the same.

1. I m working in UK and my passport has got Workpermit FLR and I have received my HSMP approval letter recently. but I have not yet sent for HSMP FLR. Could you please confirm me the current VISA status?.

2. I want to make a trip to india before applying for HSMP FLR. Can I go out of the country with current WP and comeback with current WP. then send the passport for HSMP FLR.

3. While coming back from India, I want to get my kid along with me, Can I apply for WP dependent visa for my kid in india(She doesnot have any visa currently and my kid is in india)

4. If I can apply WP Dependent for my kid in India and bring her to UK, Is it valid to apply for HSMP FLR along with wife and kid in UK.

5. Will this process stop my ILR clock and restart it again (I m nearing to my ILR).


Would be helpful for me to plan, if you could clarify the above points.
