For All those whohave HSMP and yet not applied for EC?????

Can somebody senior here please reply upon the following i came across on yahoo groups.

Hi All,

Hope everyone is aware about the new rules change. This states that we have to apply with the new rules, as if we apply with the old rules and decision is not made for your EC before 1st April 2008, you would not be considered with the older rules. Thus, anyone who has plans to apply with the older rules, should keep in mind that your decison should be made before the new rules comes into existence. I have highlighted the same in pink below.

According to the new rules, you will have to maintain 800GBP in your account for a period of 3 months continuously before you can apply for the EC with new rules (Tier 1).

Hence, guys who have a valid HSMP, like me, please plan accordingly. This has a serious blow for those who is not having 800 GBP in the account for a period of 3 months.

Hey buddy tell me one thing is it the only matter of 800 GBP or one has to comply 6.5 IELTS band as well. `coz i have got 6 and i comply with HSMP.
