HSMP extension / Tier 1 query

Friends,

Amazing forum! This is my first post here but I will try and contribute as much as I can.

I have been here on a HSMP for over a year now and am due to go in for my extension in December 2008. I am changing jobs, 30/04 being the last day with my current employer, and the start date with my new employer being 06/05. Will the fact that I will be between jobs for 5 days affect my extension/Tier 1 visa in any way?

As long as you meet the financial criteria for renewal, it doesn't matter if you have periods where you're not working. You will be fine.

you have to claim period of continuous 12 months. you dont need to be emplyed all the time. so you will be fine
