Criminal conviction /HSMP extension

My HSMP visa will expire in the coming June , I came to UK in 2004, but since then I have got a judgment on June 2005 and 6 point was taken off from my driving license for driving without license and insurance, Does anyone know the effect of this on my HSMP visa extension?
