HSMP/Tier-1 time duration

Post by sanjay_mf » Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:57 am

Hi all,

I am plannig to file my HSMP/Tier-1.

I contacted few consultants and they are charging from INR 85K to 1L.

Here are my queries:

1) What's the actual fee, means other than the fee we have to pay to UK govt. how much extra we have to spend?

2) Incase if we do it by ourself how much time will it take to get Tier-1 Visa? (The consultant was saying within 20-25 days after sending the application you will get your passport with stamped VISA.)

3) I am having total of 4.2 yrs IT exp. (all in Mainframes). Can anyone tell me how is the market of Mainframes in UK?

1. See Cost
2. Time-lines vary from country to country. Check with local BHC / VAC in your country. Read Tier 1 policy guidance for details about the scheme and documentary evidence needed. It's not rocket science, just a simple application .. so can be easily done on your own.
3. Probability of getting answers to job related queries will be higher if you post this under Employment offers and job seekers

Also read Initial applications to find how / where to apply depending on whether you are applying from within UK or outside UK.
