Proof of Income - Special case (Nigeria)

Post by Malandro7 » Tue Feb 08, 2005 11:01 am

Hi All,

I have a query about the HSMP application I would be
grateful if you could answer for me. Here is a bit of
background; I am a Nigerian citizen under 28 years of
age with both a Bachelors and a Masters degree , I
have 6 more months to complete to qualify for the
mandatory 2 years work experience requirement.

The problem I have is with regards to my salary. I am
currently partaking in a national youth service
scheme, under this scheme you don't get paid a salary
a such but instead a salary equivalent that is
required by law to be untaxed. I get paid by cheque
every month by my workplace. The total amount paid
yearly at 2400 pounds is slightly higher than the
requirement for Nigeria.

My question is, will it still be possible to lodge a
successful application at the end of the year given my
peculiar salary situation?. I realise this is a long
email and I appreciate any input you can give. Thank
you.
