Post by saurabh_gyl » Thu Aug 14, 2008 5:33 am

Hi all

I have one query.
In my passport and bank acc where i am maintaing my funds and my office i have on e signatures.
While in my salary account i have another.

Also wat signatures should i put in integra authorization letter.

No one is going to see the bank account opening forms you signed when you opened the account(s) .... not to mention the fact that banks will not share this information with 3rd parties!

Hi sushdmehta

But VFS sent me a form which contains a letter of authorisation which i need to sign and it says that the i have given the permission of to the bearer of this form the permisson to get aal the info about my accounts and other things. so if integra takes this form to bank they'll see that my account number doesn't match. can their be any problem.
do u think it wud be better for me to change my signatures to be on the safer side.
Regards,
Saurabh

Where did this come from? You can have different bank accounts for salary and maintenance funds. No problem on this one, if that is a concern.

As for signatures, I do not believe it will be a problem. Upto you if you want to change to a "common" signature .. and minimize any risk.

my concern is that the signature of my salary account number will not match with the signatures onthe integra authorisation letter(as i'll be signing the letter with signatures i have in my passport).

When I said "this information" I was refering to "bank account opening forms" which have your signatures.

AFAIK, by signing the Integra letter you authorize the bank to share "account credit, debit and balance" information with Integra (e.g. - your account history over 3-12 months or for any period which forms part of Tier 1 application documentary evidence). I don't think the authorization is meant to let the bank disclose any other confidential information about your account (e.g. - access to your bank account opening forms).

Thanks for your reply.
I understood your point. But my doubt remains unanswered that the authorisation form with integra will have different signatures with the one in my account so how will bank come to know that integra has the correct authorisation ?
