12 months bank statement

Hello,

I am starting this new thread since my query was part of earlier different thread.

Now can someone tell if 12 months bank statement (invariably for employed) is neccessary?

I am a contractor and get my payments in a random fashion. My earnings equivalent to 45 points is already covered in just 3 months statements.

Do I still need to give 12 months statements?

Pl note that I am not even talking about maintenance funds.... Just salary account.
