HSMP DEPENDANT VISA Application URGENT HELP REQUIRED

Hello,

I'm on HSMP visa which I got oct 07. Now my wife is applying for HSMP dependant visa from Pakistan. BHC told us that she need to fill VAF10 form and her visa fee is 29200. I'm confused on one thing i.e.

For all Tier 1 dependant applications submitted outside of the United Kingdom, all Maintenance (funds) evidences must be dated no more than seven days before the application is submitted.

Is this rule applies to HSMP depandant application. Please help me I am confused.

As per my understanding, if you were not entitled to Maintainence fund requirement then your depedent also doesn't need to maintain funds. Same rules apply both for main applicant and dependent (even if she joins latter).

Thanks for you reply. Yes when I have applied for HSMP visa I don't need to show the maintenance funds. Now my question is in the VAF10 form it got maintenance funds section so I dont know wheather this applies to me. Also can you send me the link where you have seen same rules apples to dependant.
