which forms to fill for initial Tier1 General

can any one tell me which forms to fill for applying in tier 1 general category for the first time?

I think we need one sticky post, which lists all documents and forms required for tier 1 general.

That's pretty trivial, debatable whether it really needs a sticky.

and Appendix are the forms you have to submit for it.

go to the VFS site n you will find all the form

Do we have these form in MS Word format so that we can type and take its print out...other PDF don't allow to type ..The only way may be to get PDF's file print and then get is typed by type writer...

wats the address of VFS site? and is that only a single form needed for tier 1?

Where should i submit it? in VAC or at BHC?

Hi,
I do understand you would like to know information, but it would be better if you go through VFS site and ask any questions you have rather than asking all the trivial ones. You are expected to do your part of homework before you ask questions

Thanks ramgsk. I have alread filled most part of vaf9 and appendix 1 this morning.

the most confusing part is the english language one, where some strange options are there abt english exam and degree being in english. do we have to check both or just 1?

I fullfill both requirements

Hi,

The point 6.1 of the appendix asks to check any of these
National of a majority English speaking country. Go to question 6.2
English language Test, Go to question 6.3
Degree taught in English, Go to question 6.5

If you are an Indian, you cannot check the first one,
If you have taken a English Language Test like IELTS, then tick this
otherwise, if you have a degree taught in English, check this one,

any one when checked takes us to the respective point 6.2/6.3/6/5.

If you have taken any English Language Test, then check second one, and also check the third one, provide proofs for those two, then you have to provide the docs for two.

Only one of them being checked is also fine, if you want you can check only the last one also

I was confused whether to check both options i.e. for degree and ielts or just one. I will go for just 1 although I can show both.

So just these 2 forms are required? appendix 1 and VAf 9 for tier 1 general?
