"Date of application" for maintenance funds

Post by intalex » Sun Dec 07, 2008 8:38 am

I'm due to apply for my EC under the HSMP/Tier-1 transitional arrangements, and was wondering which of the following two dates is used as the date of application, from which the 3-months maintenance funds requirement is normally assessed:-

- Date of visa application (online).
- Date of appointment at British High Commission.

Cheers in advance!

Bump!!!

I got my visa appointment on Wednesday, and would really appreciate some assistance on this matter, so I can prepare accordingly.

Again, cheers in advance!

Hello,

The date when you submit your application is taken in to consideration.

There is a change in the rule, i.e., there is no more seven days rule instaed there is a one calender month rule. It means you can submit your bank statements which are not more than one month old on the day of your application.

Its really good news and it is effecitve from today dated 8th December 2008 :)

Updated news can be read from
