Hi all,

I had applied for HSMP (Incountry application) and the documents reached the HO by first week of February ( Ref 12***), I got the original documents today morning (16/04/2004) with a letter stating that the decision will be made shortly and the passports will be sent by post.

What does this indicates?

1)So can I assume that my application is successful?
2)What is the time between getting the original documents back and getting the decision letter + passport?

Thanks.
Ford.

Presume your 'change of address' post on the forum yesterday is now moot 8) .

They have completed assessing your application including documents submitted and to quote the HSMP Team 'will shortly make a decision' - fairly clear don't you think.
1)So can I assume that my application is successful?
No - everyone gets their documents inlcuding passports back..after all they belong to you and HSMP Team no longer need them.
2)What is the time between getting the original documents back and getting the decision letter + passport?
Should be within 1 week but give it 2 weeks before sweating them.

Thanks for the reply Kayalami.
I was under the assumption that if there is no query for extra document plus they send the original documents minus the passport means the decision is always favourable (I had submitted a valid job offer letter) which does not seems so.

Thanks,
Ford.
