Guys,

I am applying for teir 1 general in next few days.
I am into some dillamma.

earning claim period I've shown as Jan-08 to Dec 08

1. I was in US for business meetings from february-08 to april-08. where I used to get Indian salary only.

I know i cant apply uplift of 5.3 for that period, my question is Can I convert my ndian salary to USD for that 3 months period and then apply the uplift 1 and conversion to GBP because it will help me gaining some points. or can I apply uplift of 5.3 for that period also, as i was earning in INR only for that period.

Any COMPACT anser is highly appreciated.
