FAMILY MAINTENANCE FUND

Post by RAKESHHGUPTA » Wed Mar 25, 2009 8:46 pm

HI,
I wish to submit my HSMP ( self + 2 dependent), I moved to Uk on 20/04/2008 and wouldl like to submit my bank statement from 25/12/2008 - 25/03/2009, where in the average daily balance is more than GBp5000 per day as per my bank statement for feb & march, but my dec-jan statement states that my average daily balance is around GBP 3700 per day for couple of days in between, I am just falling short by 1 year law by 23 days, any idea whether they will be so strict with 1 yr law ?
Request for an urgent help on info, how should i show my maintenance funds.

They will strictly go by the rule published in the guidance notes.

Agreed. I don't believe they have any room for discretion on this matter.

Rakesh,

You can show balance available to you in your other bank account. Offshore account may be. You can club two accounts.
