Maintenance funds and exchange rate

I am planning to apply for Teir 1(General) in the third week of April 2009 from California under new rules.

My Questions are:

1) Can we show the 3 Months Maintenance funds from mid of the month TO mid of the month(eg: 12/Jan/2009 to 14/April/2009) or do we have to show only frommonth starting to month ending(eg: 01/Jan/2009 TO 31/March/2009).

2)As i am applying in third week of April 2009, which date i have to take to calculate the Exchange rate to show my 3 months funds and earnings.

3)Is there any changes in the procedure to apply under new rules(eg:new application,forms,fee etc..)

No problem u can do that.. but that date should be atleast 1month before u apply and aslo pls see that ur earning proof period is not after ur maintenance date..

we for sure already have a neW GUIDANCE posted
New application will be there becos of earning bands changed

and aslo pls see that ur earning proof period is not after ur maintenance date..

Any particular reason for this comment?

On the original query:

1. - Yes thats fine
2. - It sould be the date when you take statements (this will in most cases coincide with the last day of the maintenance period)
3. - Yes. pls check the UKBA website (if you are applying within UK for changed fee post 6th april and a new form)/ VFS website as the case may be.
