Tier 1 General Query about funds maintenance

Post by mark1017 » Mon Apr 20, 2009 4:05 pm

Hi,

Iam presently on WHMV and planning to apply for Tier 1 in July,I will be claiming the points for UK based earnings, could you please let me know if its alright if I show the maintenance funds in a My Indian savings account rather than showing it in UK bank as I will have to apply for the visa from my home country.
Could you also let me know how may pay slips do we have to submit along with the documents.

appreciate all your help.

Regards
Mark

you need to present payslips for the past 12 months before your application, and there should not be a problem showing your maintenance fund from your Indian account.

You can show as many pay slips as you want provided they pertain to any consecutive 12 month period within 15 months prior to the application date.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the response,I started working for the company in August 2008 and Intend to apply for tier 1 in July 2009 in this case I wont be having the 12 payslips and again going with the rule I cant work more than 12 months...if I show them that I have a permanent Job here will that effect my application?the problem is that I dont want to loose this Job so Intend to apply before I complete 12 months here, please advice?

Thanks and Regards

If u can qualify in 10 months then do it. it is not compulsory to show 12 months pay slips..

Unfortunately, it doesn't help. You need to have the 12 months worth Pay slips prior to your application (oout of last 15 months). That is regardless of job being permanent or temp or even contract... you can show multiple account in multiple conuntries for ur maintanance criteria

It is just matter of earnings buddy.. i sent 10 months for my case.. if u r qualifying in 8 months u can do it no need to send 12 months pay slips.. Read the guidelines carefully it has answers to all the questions... Read it carefully.. Still if u cant understand then dont hesitate to ask...

hope this helps
