Business Visa on top of Tier 1?

Hi ,

I have a Tier 1 visa valid until Nov2011. I'm currently working in UK. My employer is aware that I have Tier1 visa. Due to project requirements I need to go to India and work there for couple of months. As I didn't agree to process work permit on Tier1 , as per my current employer's policy , the emloyer can't bring me to UK on Tier1 hence my employer is suggesting me to come on business visa when I come nest time. I understand that Business Visa is not authorized to work , but some of the employees in UK office are staying and working in BV. Practically , I'm not completly happy to process BV from my employer, however , I have following questions to get clarified before I discuss with my employer

1) Can my employer process business visa for me (as I already have Ter1)?

2) If answer for the question 1 is "yes" , does the new BV will override my existing Tier1 visa?

3) If answer for the question 2 is "no" , if my employer stamps BV valid for 6 months , can I stay here for 6 months continuously?

Why cannot your employer send you to UK on Tier 1 ?
When you come to airport, you will be asked that why business Visa on Top if Tier 1 ?I think your latest visa overrides your ealrier visa..So your Tier 1 might get invalid..Wait for other members to reply though

Your business Visa with override T1 also business visa stay is not counted towards ILR.

If you do it you wont only loose your right to work here but your ILR counter will reset.

I think your employer is just acting smart so you cannot leave them.

Either your employer is uninformed or is he trying to talk to up your visa.

Your employer wants to just sc** u ..nothing else .....
never agree to business visa .....It is like studying 1st standard after getting PHD ...
