Hi, seems HO will not be asking for more days on 20th then. But I'm a little concern that they still want you to come with money. What's the number you used to book the appointment please?smartwave wrote:very important, they still want me to confirm that I've got my life in the UK test certificate!smartwave wrote:they still ask me to prepare to pay the 1000+ fees...
I am going to claim back when I get my ILR
you need your name, your dob (hope you can remember).justice_will_reign wrote:Hi, seems HO will not be asking for more days on 20th then. What information do I need to book the appointment?smartwave wrote: then I called again at 9:05 to alter my appt. this time it took me about 20 minutes to go through.
the ppl answered the call were really nice ppl. It is those HO stupid high officers who made the mess but then it is those case workers to clean up their mess.
remember they did ask twice if I already took my life in the uk test.
your name, your dob, the time you finish your 4 years,justice_will_reign wrote:What information do I need to book the appointment?smartwave wrote: then I called again at 9:05 to alter my appt. this time it took me about 20 minutes to go through.

I dont' think that makes any difference.motor wrote:Hi,
could you confirm, if you just have qualified for 4 years ILR or had been extended previously like 1+3+3 and got Tier 1 instead of ILR 4 years before?
Thanks
Maybe 20th will provide a clearer view on how HO will sort out the previous fees that we were forced to pay for unlawful extention after initial 4 years period. I can't wait for Wednesday to come!OFCHARITY wrote:Just tried to book an appointment myself. They did tell me about the £1020 + £50 for each dependent fee as well. Unfortunately there are no appointment slots anywhere (this was shortly after 10 this morning). I was advised that I could try again tomorrow but to do so at 9.00 am as they go quickly. A bit frustrating really but I really do not want to have to wait six months for a postal application. I hope the HO are planning to have a special team deal with the HSMP ILR postal applications to avoid further time-wasting for long suffering pre April 2006 applicants.
Seems like it does not make any difference as you were asked to be ready to pay, though it would be more fair for them not to charge for ILR application in case of 1+3hsmp+3T1.smartwave wrote:I dont' think that makes any difference.motor wrote:Hi,

I personally belong to 1+3hsmp+3T1.
However from my understanding, as long as you got your HSMP before April2006 and you have(or will in the next 4 weeks) stayed in UK for 4 years then you are able to book appointments now.
Anyone knows an alternative number, can't call 0870 numbers from company's phone.smartwave wrote:the number is on the settlement application form.
Regarding finish of four years- which date it will be to calculate ? From the date of visa stamped or date of entry in UK ?smartwave wrote:your name, your dob, the time you finish your 4 years,justice_will_reign wrote:What information do I need to book the appointment?smartwave wrote: then I called again at 9:05 to alter my appt. this time it took me about 20 minutes to go through.

your life in the uk test, how many dependents you have.

Typical HO as usual...well, it's just less than 24 hours to go!shahidsuri wrote:I called at exact 9.00 and the lady said no appointments are available..
