Documents return by HO

Post by maximux79 » Wed Aug 12, 2009 4:32 pm

Hi all, As per UKBA, it says that it would return the documents to applicants through recorded delivery. Does anyone know if its FIRST class or second class...

Cheers

Here is a million dollar advice..

When you apply do attach a Royal Mail Special Delivery next day service which the HO will use to send back your docs.. and the docs will reach you in 1day.. Unlike if you leave it for HO to send by RD.. which will take 3-5days to get back ur docs... and the point i am trying to drive home here is when you are waiting for your Approval results..
You will feel happy n will be blessed for using ur own SD than RD becos the waiting time 3-5days at that point believe me is really KILLING n toooooooooooooooooo long

1000% agree with TVN. I live 1 mile away from Hom Office. After my extension approval, HO sent me document via standard signed delivery and it took 9 days to reach me. Can't explain how I went through those 9 days.

HI I agree one should always send a self-addressed Spl. delivery cover for docs return to avoid any delay...

In my case, I was lucky that the docs were received the next day they posted....so got it away luckily...and feel how stupid I've been...

NKSG:

You were very lucky becos even by SD it takes more than that.. n chances of getting next day by RD are very remote.. so you might be one-off chance type.. (lucky chap).. but i would suggest applicants to spend those few quids n buy peace of mind..
