Source of Maintenance Funds

Hi All,

I am planning to file for Tier 1 General shortly. I have a query regarding maintenance funds and would appreciate your answers. To maintain a minimum amount of GBP 2800 in my account for 3 months, I have taken Rs. 1,50,000 from my father. Is this ok.....do the authorities check the source of maintenance funds?

No. They just check you have enough funds to maintain yourself.
