12 months earnings conversion date

Hi,

Submitting 12 months payslips till July 2009 .Do I need to covert the conversion rate ending 31st July 2009 or Do I need to convert the conversion rate at 26th Aug 2009 .Because my 12 months bank statement is from 27th Aug 2008 to 26th Aug 2009.

Please help!.

An applicant should use the closing spot exchange rate on the OANDA website at http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic on the last day of the period for which he/she has claimed earnings in that currency.

Earnings: conversion rate of the last day of your earning period.
Maintenance Fund: conversion rate of the date of application.
