Refernce Number on Entry Clearance / VISA

Hi Guys,

I am filling my TIER 1 Application for HSMP extension and i am asked to fill Reference Number on the Entry Clearance OR Visa
[On Page 20 of TIER 1 general Application]

My entry clearance was on a Student Visa, and later on HSMP Visa. Should i fill the Reference number on my Entry Clearance which was issued in 2005 (OR) Refernce number on my HSMP Visa or HSMP Approval Letter in 2008

Any help much appreciated

Makes sense to fill HSMP VISA number - One shouldn't be too fussed about the same as I guess the form says - if available.

Though it is optional as push pointed out, i would put the EC no. (which you used initially to enter country) as that is the only EC no. you have. Rest is all the in-country visa(HSMP) nos. This should help HO to link all your records together.But don't loose your sleep over it
