Requirement for ILR

Hi,

I've Tier-1(General) visa, extends once and now it is valid until Aug-2012. I've been working in my profession (IT) but now I've made my mind to change my profession and start my own business.
Just wanted to know, if say after 3 years when I'd appy for ILR, would it be ok OR is it necessary to stay in the same profession?
Also if anyone could specify what documents would be required to apply for ILR?

It is perfectly fine to change your profession. At the time of your ILR you will only need to prove you are financially active and that all. For documents and other details check below link:
