Tier1 (General) - Earnings from Salary & Dividends

Hi Everybody,

I am looking for help in applying for Tier1 (General) Visa. This is an initial application. I am presently on Tier1 (Post Study Work) visa valid until 23-Jan-2010. I am looking to make my application by 16-Nov-2009.

I am presently working with a bank and my previous 12 months gross salary from 01-Nov-2008 to 31-Oct-2009 is £17000. In addition I have my own IT consultancy business operating as a private limited company in which I am the sole shareholder & director. I have been in this business since June 2009 and have taken dividend of £10500 from 01-July-2009 to 31-Oct-2009.

I am claiming points as follows;
a) Age: 10 points (DOB: 15-May-1980)
b) Qualifications: 35 points (Masters Degree from a UK University awarded in Jan 2008)
c) Previous Earnings: 25 points (Salary: 17000 + Dividends:10500)
d) UK Experience: 5 points

Total 75 points + English Language 10 points + Maintenance Funds 10 points.

I NEED YOUR HELP in understanding the document requirements for having claimed points for earnings by the way of dividends from my own business which is in the form of a private limited company. Request your helpful experienced guidance towards this.

Agree with mvent. If you still don't understand, feel free to either surf around the forum(there are lot of identical cases ) or post your question. It is not that difficult as you might think.Your case is straight forward.

for earnig fron self managed company u need following documets (any two ) from yr qualified accountant

1. accounsts of company
2. Income certificate of company
3. Dividned vouchers
4. Sales summary of company .
