Indian current account for dependant visa application

Post by mattkaps » Mon Nov 16, 2009 7:51 pm

Hi,

I am currently in UK. I want to apply dependant visa for my wife who is in India. As per the rule i have to show £1333 pounds in current account for 3 months. I don't have sufficient fund in UK current account, However I have required money in India's current account.

Could you please tell if I can show India's current account for the proof of maintenance and funds?

Also, if I can show India's current account for the maintenance and funds than could you please tell me how much do I need in Rupees in my current account?

Cheers,
Mait
